A Brief Company History
In 1979, our founder Richard Hall, opened up his barn as a
job shop specializing in metal stamping tools. Within three years,
the business had outgrown the modest 700 square foot space, and Dick moved
the company to what was then a spacious 2400 square foot mill house in
Marlow, NH. The next decade saw a steady growth in customers and
work, and in 1994, Sunset Tool moved again, to its current facility in
Keene, NH.
Still modest in size, our current facility is home
to over 20 punch presses and over 30 metal cutting machines, staffed
by 23 of the most dedicated and versatile manufacturing engineers and
machinists in the region.

Sunset Tool, Inc. is dedicated to providing our customers with the best
service they deserve. To that end, we strive to maintain the right
balance in the spectrum of quality, affordability, and delivery.
Sunset Tool, Inc., a family owned and operated business, was started in
1979 with the goal of providing a safe, secure and rewarding place to work
for ourselves and our employees.
By maintaining proactive communication lines with both our customers and
vendors, and by harboring a solutions-based working environment for our
employees, we emphasize the indivuality and importance of each customer's
needs and each employee's talents.
